Few events beat 4th of July in Lander, and the Pioneer Days Rodeo is something not be missed during your visit. Started in 1894, when Lander was known as "where the rail ends and the trail begins", the Pioneer Days Rodeo is an amazing display of culture, history and real Western Spirit.
Hosted by the South Pass City State Historic Site, Gold Rush Days celebrates life in a western gold camp. The event includes a vintage baseball tournament, gold panning, stamp mill demonstrations, printing press demonstrations, live music and more.
Started over twenty years ago, this is the climbing event of the year! International Climbers’ Festival is a 4-day event that is chock full of great events, clinics, live music, and an all-around fantastic time.
Jurassic Classic combines mountain biking, films, live music, food, beer and a lot of fun. Clinics The money raised in this festival goes to fund trailbuilding and cycling awareness efforts put on by the Lander Cycling Club.
