Climbing & Rappelling Trips
We offer private trips in a variety of locations all around the incredibly scenic Lander area. Areas used for climbing are Sinks Canyon, Wild Iris, Lankin Dome, and Cranner Rock. You can experience incredible limestone sport climbing, splitter trad climbing, and granite multi-pitch domes all within a short drive from the cool little town of Lander. All guides are certified Single Pitch Instructors or greater through the American Mountain Guides Association and hold current Wilderness First Responder certifications.

SEASON OF OPERATION
We operate April 1st through October 31st every year. Although, you can climb in Sinks Canyon in the dead of Winter as long as it's a sunny day. The south facing main wall of Sinks acts like an oven. It can be literally freezing at the parking lot and T-shirt weather at the crag. Sometimes exceptions can be made for guided winter climbing. If you're interested, it never hurts to ask!
CANCELLATION POLICY
Wind River Climbing Guides' online reservation system requires full payment at the time of booking. This amount is fully refundable for any reason up to 48 hours before the scheduled meeting time. After that time we will be happy to reschedule your program, or refund you less a $100 fee to cover our losses. If your program is canceled by your guide due to inclement weather or other unsafe conditions, Wind River Climbing Guides will issue you a pro-rated refund.
