CAMPING

Sinks canyon state park

  • Sinks Canyon has two campgrounds (Popo Agie & Sawmill) with sites ranging from primitive camping to rental yurts

  • These campgrounds are first-come, first-served (yurts are reservable) and offer beautiful vistas of Sinks Canyon State Park

Lander City Park

  • Lander offers free camping/parking for visitors at Lander City Park for up to three consecutive nights. Although, if you park here, it is recommended you pack your things each morning so other visitors may use the sites for day use

  • The City Park is located right by the Popo Agie River and has day-use shelters, restrooms, water fill-up stations, a playground and a tennis court

Sleeping Bear RV Park and Campground

  • This campground offers hookups, wifi, restrooms, and laundry facilities

  • Sleeping Bear is located just south of town, towards Wild Iris. This family-run RV park is great for those who are looking for more facilities and privacy

Twin Pines RV Park and Campground

  • Located eight miles south of Lander, Twin Pines is a quaint location near the Red Canyon.

  • They offer cabins, RV hookups, and a few tent sites. Twin Pines also has wifi, laundry facilities, and is pet friendly

The Rock Shop Inn

  • A tranquil and secluded retreat located near the world class climbing at Wild Iris

  • Cabin rentals, RV hookups and tent camping are all available at the incredible location

Rodeway Inn pronghorn lodge

  • The Rodeway Inn is located in historical downtown Lander right beside the Oxbow Restaurant

  • This cozy hotel offers wifi, a hot tub, and is directly above the Popo Agie River

Holiday Inn Express

  • Holiday Inn Express Lander is directly beside Safeway on the north side of town. It has all the amenities you could expect from Holiday Inns across the country

  • This hotel has wifi, a fitness center, an indoor pool, and a restaurant

The Inn at Lander

  • Located within walking distance of many restaurants downtown, the Inn at Lander is a wonderful place to stay in a central location

  • Inside, they have the Summit Restaurant as well as indoor and outdoor pools and a hot tub
